Very nice fic. I almost forgot how well you could do lighthearted fics! A nice change of pace from the last few fics which have more of a serious and angst filled plot. I loved the relationship between Harry and Draco but moreso between Teddy and Scorpius. I wanted to laugh at Harry having the nerve at making fun of Scorpius' name like Teddy's isn't worse LOL. only critique I really have is the theme of bashing all things pureblood again. It seems like the running motto is pureblood=bad, muggleborn/muggle=good

Thanks!

I really don't think Theodore, or Teddy, is worse than Scorpius. At least it does abbreviate nicely.

Given that we don't see much of pureblood things in the book beyond blood prejudice and being willing to torture Muggles and house-elves, I can't agree that it's really bashing.

Your writing is always wonderful. But this, I think, is my favorite story of yours to date. I wouldn't call this lighthearted, but there's certainly something very uplifting about it. Harry is Draco's hope and promise of a future - of a life that will not always but be easy, perhaps, but will certainly be rewarding for them both. I love the way they just fall into understanding each other, brought together by their boys but building their own bonds as well, bonds that far transcend their bitter history. I love Harry's easy, relaxed, powerful confidence, and Draco's fragility so well hidden beneath his cool facade. This just really hit home for me in so many ways. Very well done.

Thank you!

I usually write them the other way around, with Harry the one who needs some promise of a future, and Draco the one who takes care of him. I'm glad you enjoyed it when I was writing like this. Sometimes it feels odd to me to write a confident Harry, since I've done so little of it. But I feel that he would have to feel more confident to take care of Teddy, or he would have given up in about the second week.

"I just don’t trust an eleven-year-old to know everything. Harry grinned and shook his head. God knows what I would have done if they’d put me completely in charge of my destiny when I was eleven."

Oh, Harry! LOL
