It's hard to believe that Snape would allow his students to insult Lily but I've always thought he wouldn't welcome Harry to Slytherin, that's for sure. I'm sorry little Harry's having a hard time there but I'm also sorry for Draco.
Snape, unfortunately, didn't believe that his students were insulting Lily because it was Harry who said so, and he's already committed to believing everything that Harry says is a lie.
Do you mean present-day Draco, or past-Draco, or both?
Both, actually. Little Draco just wants to be friends with Harry and Harry could have been a good influence for him. And I don't think adult Draco's enjoying his experiment.
You know, we've all said, "If I knew then what I know now, what a difference it would make." Draco is learning that the hard way, isn't he? His younger self is acting based on his upbringing and his maturity level at that point, as is Harry, and has no knowledge of future events, unlike 'watching Draco'.
Yes. And especially because he can't help wondering, uneasily, what he might have missed when he was a student that could have caused Harry to become his friend if only he'd noticed it.
That has to be the most bizarre, frustrating, and heartbreaking experience; seeing someone you love again through the eyes of yourself before you grew to love them...
Okay that made sense in my head, not so much when I typed it out.
I just have a feeling things are going to be more and more sour. I hope Draco realizes a little sooner than later what a stupid wish this was. Is.
Harry is fighting, at this point, against Slytherin and his perceptions of it as much as the real House. That starts to change a little bit in the next chapter, but not that much.

Don't worry, I know what you meant. :)
Draco regrets it, but at the moment his ire is directed against his younger self, not himself. (Talk about statements that don't make much sense).
