I've been lurking here reading for weeks, and I just have to tell you that I love this story. I'm sorry I haven't commented sooner. I'm pretty sure I read at least parts of the first two series, and now I'm going to go back and read the whole thing over again. I love your complicated magic, and you are so wonderful at expressing their (especially Harry's) mixed and complex emotions.
Thank you, and it's no problem. I would be interested to see if your perspective changes after you read the whole of the series; I think there are buildups in the rest of the stories that you need to see to appreciate.
I think Harry will be able to quit his job without too many questions since he was already missing quite a bit of work. I do wonder how Ron will react, but maybe he'll accept it once he sees how much better Harry is doing.
Seeing as there are 5 chapters left, I'm wondering what other twists you'll put in, whether it be other vampires or vampire hunters.
All in all, this was a very sweet chapter. I like this attentive and obsessed Draco.
Yes. The main conflict will be with Ron, rather than with the Aurors, since they have been kind of hoping that Harry would quit and stop obsessing about vampires and being a public embarrassment to the Ministry.
