Wow I did not expect the attack but I know it would have come sooner or later after the attack that happened to Draco.

Yeah, they have enemies on all sides, unfortunately.

I am so in love with this story. I'm always thrilled to see any of your stories updated, but I await updates to this one more anxiously than any other story in recent memory. So...thanks for being AWESOME!

Thank you so much! This is currently my favorite story to write, and I'm glad that people like it as much as they do.

Great! I am in love with the way you follow the changes in our characters' perception of the bond and each other. The novel is much more about human emotions than the magic, though its pulse is everywhere.

Thank you!

And yes, the emotions are the main focus. In the next chapter, everyone is more confused than ever, but Harry does decide to take a definite direction, which will help in more than one way.

Ginny was remarkably unconcerned by the attack on Harry. She may be possessive of Harry and jealous of the bond, but I don't think she's in love with him.

The distress that Draco and Severus felt over Ginny's presence really hit home for me. Then for Harry to be struck down immediately after? Adding injury to insult for those two. I'm really feeling sympathy for Draco and Severus right now.

She was in shock. But yes, her feelings are not as deep as she would probably like them to be. The reason why is revealed in the next chapter.

And Harry didn't especially want to bring Ginny along, but leaving her out when she wanted to come wouldn't have been fair to her, either.
