Donna is my hero these days. You did an excellent job of capturing how she sees the Doctor. This is beautiful.

Awwww, thank you! *blushes* I really tried with this one because I have simply grown to love Donna over this season. She's been so amazing (and so has Wilf - I love her grandfather as much as I love her).

Thank you again for reading and commenting!

Your icon is gorgeous btw!

Wonderful story! I could feel her ginger love for the doctor all they way through.

I actually liked Donna in the Runaway Bride, and loved her in this season. They way she looked at him during that moment tugged at my heart so.

Great icon btw.

Wonderful story!

Thank you!

I could feel her ginger love for the doctor all they way through.

I am glad I succeeded with capturing the kind of love I think Donna has for the Doctor.

I actually liked Donna in the Runaway Bride, and loved her in this season.

Well I didn't love her so much in Runaway Bride but have fallen in love with her this season. She's been so amazing!

They way she looked at him during that moment tugged at my heart so.

Yeah I crying from the moment she said what she and that look on her face made me cry even more.

Great icon btw.

Yeah it is. Kudos to moodymuse19, the person who made it.

aawww....i love Donna. and my favorite thing about her is the familial air to her bond with the Doctor. and that moment when she told him to ask her himself...you got at the heart of what the characters must have been feeling at the time.

thank you!

aawww....i love Donna. and my favorite thing about her is the familial air to her bond with the Doctor.

At the risk of sounding like an echo, Donna has been amazing this season and I have completely fallen for her. I seriously wish if we can't have Rose back full time as the Doctor's companion then we get to have Donna.

Amd yes I agree about the familial bond between the Doctor and Donna. As I wrote this I realize yes she does love him but not in the romantic sense of the word. They've become best friends, brother and sister. She is so what he has needed since losing Rose.

and that moment when she told him to ask her himself...you got at the heart of what the characters must have been feeling at the time.

Oh the moment she told him to ask Rose himself I started crying and the look on her face when she says that. You know she is so happy for him, happy that his beloved Rose has come back and is only a street's length away from him.

Thank you for reading and your lovely comments!

You remember how quickly confusion was replaced by the fear that when he actually turned around to look she wouldn't be there.
Perfect. That's it exactly. (And how fab is it that David Tennant can get all that full-on acting into a look?! :D

This was a lovely evocative read, and the second person fit beautifully. Thanks.

Yeah he is amazing. You saw confusion and fear that she wouldn't be there when he turned to look and then such joy when he saw her again. Oh that grin on his face when he was running towards her. Darn RTD for ruining it with a stupid Dalek!

This was a lovely evocative read, and the second person fit beautifully. Thanks.

Oh thank you for reading and commenting. Second person is definitely one I'll explore writing in again in the future. Thanks!

I love the way Donna loves the Doctor like a brother.

Oh me too. That's how I see them as best friends and like brother/sister.
