Yeah, it was very good :D

My only DMC association was when Wolverine and Victor was fighting against this guy who previously was Wane, and then... Weapon XI? Anyway, it was when they stood back to each other and unite against him xD (What, my DMC knowledge confines to DMC3 cutscenes and few things you told me about xDD)

That back-to-back moment barely reminded me of DMC, only the fact that they united as brothers and fought together, but the action was a lot more different and setting.
