♪well sentence me to another life♪

Yesterday I picked up my order for new Paramore's album, Brand New Eyes.

Somehow I learned that they released a new album. Ah, right, when I was at the gym I saw the video, and then after about a month (^^;;) I remembered to check it out at YouTube (yeah... at the gym, I only saw it, no audio). Then I checked their website, learned about the new album, downloaded it, and after listening to 2-3 songs I ordered it x)
The songs are great *___* But mainly Ignorance - the single.

Where's your gavel? Your jury?
What's my offense this time?
You're not a judge, but if you're gonna judge me,
Well sentence me to another life

Even if only for this one song it's worth to have the album. And the booklet looks beautiful, the cover. Awwww *.* My love for the band came back. The new album is both very similar and very different to previous ones. The subject of the songs haven't changed, but musically they developed.

However the feel about the feel about the entire album it very much alike to the one I got after Riot!. Basically, there's one song, the first single that is amazing, that's the song you can listen to on and on. And there's another song holding close second place (crushcrushcrush and I'd say Careful). The rest is just okay, the songs even sound similarly. Let's take for example Born for This and Looking Up. If I listened to both albums carefully now, probably I'd be able to make more such matches.

But I love Brand New Eyes nontheless. It's a set of good songs. I kind of recently given up listening to female vocalists (with except to Japanese) ^^;; It's good to hear female voice after that :D Besides I love Hayley, I absolutely love her, her style, hey hair, her voice >3

I guess I'll post some more such entries, about new albums. Somehow recently I learned that some bands released new albums or about to release them. And I feel like I'm gonna buy them. Hah, my poor money, and I wanted to save up for an iPod Touch...
