WHO: Feliks, Moon, anyone else? WHEN: November 11th WHERE: Seapony Ranch WHAT: It's not a birthday celebration without ponies! And free cake! And that hot guy from the shampoo ad!
From a freaking snow storm deeper into the city, to a milder snow fall by the coast. Moon sighed, glad he wasn't being buried in snow at the moment, just the light fall instead. He wiped some snow off his face, wandering the coast line idly. He'd been working since early morning, and felt like taking a walk.
He'd walked for at least an hour, when he stopped, noticing something he hadn't seen before in the area. Was that... a ranch? He could've sworn he saw a pony or horse wander around over there. Seriously? Horses?
This.... he had to check out. So he did, walking over. Yes, he was an adult. But when it came to horses, and ponies and anything that had to do with them.... There was just as if this little child inside him just cried of happiness. Ever since he was a little boy, he'd loved the animal. It was the most beautiful being in the world to him. Not even girls could compare. Only if they loved horses themselves, could they compare.
As Feliks licked a bit of frosting off his plastic fork, he noticed a dark figure a fair distance off moving towards the ponies. Curious, he stood up and leaned closer to the window, hoping to get a better look. He eventually made out the figure of a man just...staring at the ponies. Well, that was a little weird. Usually people just walked right up to the barn.
He set down his plate and fork, pulled his jacket on and started walking over to the man. Strange or no, he was probably a customer so it was best to greet him.
"Hiiiiii~," Feliks called out happily to the man. "Are you like, here for a pony ride?"
The closer he got, the more Feliks felt like he'd seen this guy somewhere before...
The cheerful greeting made Moon turn his head, and he saw the blonde man. Or was it a girl? No matter, maybe he was responsible for the ranch?
" Uhmm.... Are they your ponies?" he asked, so far doing a good job hiding his excitement. It had been a while since he went horseback riding.... What he wouldn't give to do that again.
"Yep! I'm Feliks and I'm like, the owner of this ranch. So, were you just like, looking or..." he began to say before something stopped his every thought.
A gust of wind blew by. The stranger's hair fluttered elegantly in the breeze and mixed with the swirling snowflakes in the air. For the briefest of seconds, his hair sparkled radiantly and Feliks' mind finally made the connection.
"Shampoo," he said weakly. "OH MY GOD, YOU'RE TOTALLY THAT SHAMPOO AD GUY! Oh my God, I like, seriously love that ad! For real! You can like, totally ride the ponies for free if you want, 'k? 'K?!"
AAAAND HERE COMES THE AWKWARD!toris_toriNovember 12 2009, 21:38:20 UTC
Shivering, Toris pulled the scarf a little more securly around his neck, maybe he should've gotten a new coat. He hadn't lived in a colder part of the states. He mentally scolded himself for not thinking that far ahead when he'd moved into Liberty. Oh well, he'd figure it out later.
And why was he out in the cold and not where it was warm? Because a certain roommate of his had a birthday today. Sighing, Toris blew some hair out of his face, the snow sticking to the ends of his hair, making his face even colder than before. He didn't mind coming out though, it was for a birthday after all, he owed Feliks that much.
Feeling in his pocket for the third time, Toris made sure the present was secure, it was.

I added the awkward tag just for your arrival <3ponies_omgNovember 12 2009, 21:50:48 UTC
Feliks watched as the customer saddled up the pony and generally seemed to brighten up as he did so.
"Aww. You like, really seem to like this! Anyway, let me go saddle up a pony myself and I'll like, show you where the awesome trails are around here. Just wait here a minute, 'k?"
As Feliks turned away he spotted someone new approaching. "Tori? Oh my God! Tori! Hi," he waved cheerfully.
As it should be, BFF <3toris_toriNovember 12 2009, 22:43:59 UTC
Toris gave a small wave back, smiling slightly as he approached his roommate and the rider. Waverunner recongnized him immediately, though she hadn't seen him for a long time and pushed her nose into his face. Toris' smile turned into a grimmace and he gently stroked her nose, relaxing after a moment and hugging her around the neck, "Hey girl."
Then he turned back to Feliks and handed him the box with the necklace inside, hoping that he'd chosen correctly. "Happy Birthday Feliks." He said with a small smile before letting his gaze turn towards the third person in their group and he blinked in surprise.
Moon let the two talk, seeing it was obvious they knew each other. But when he got a good look at the one coming over, his face turned into a surprised expression as well.
" Toris?" he said, looking at him. Waverunner seemed to know him too, so he let her snuggle him first. He'd wait for Feliks to show him the best trails, even though he could most likely find some by himself. Anything to go riding, honestly.
FEEL FREE TO TELL ME TO GTFO. 8D;salylimonNovember 14 2009, 23:02:04 UTC
Emiliana didn't want to admit that she was lost, especially not after falling asleep on the bus and missing her stop over half an hour ago. Though, that in turn hadn't been her fault. The sudden snowstorm had chilled her to the bone as she had been waiting at the bus stop, so the comforting warmth she had found inside the bus had caused her to nod off after only five minutes

AWW, WHY WOULD I DO THAT? <3ponies_omgNovember 14 2009, 23:11:39 UTC
After he (regrettably) watched Moon ride off, Feliks turned back to Toris with questions swirling in his head. "A little while ago, huh? He's that shampoo guy right? That totally hot shampoo guy I should add. Ya know, Tori, you could've just like, introduced me to him as a birthday present," he said mostly jokingly.
"Anyway, thanks again for the present, I'm gonna open it now, 'k?" His curiosity had gotten the better of him and he ripped off the wrapping quickly, opened the box and...stopped. He looked up at Toris, then back at the necklace, back up at Toris, the necklace, Toris, necklace, Toris, necklace. He was vaguely aware that his mouth was hanging open the whole time. "Oh my God. It's..." he paused mid-sentence as he noticed someone new approaching the ranch. Feliks pocketed the necklace safely and decided to wave at the new person instead of trying to sort out the rush of emotions that threatened to overwhelm him.
"Hi~! D'ya wanna ride a pony or would you like some cake?"
NICE WAY TO RUIN A MOMENT, EMI /FAILsalylimonNovember 15 2009, 00:31:14 UTC
Emiliana looked over at the small blond, briefly noticing the slightly awkward tension in the air before. Damn, she had probably walked in on something personal. Clearing her throat, she squinted her eyes slightly. The petite blond looked familiar. Oh, that's right. Snapping her fingers, she grinned. "You were at Dos Llamas this summer, right? I was your waitress, if you don't remember," she added before pausing to look around her. The ponies...they were so cute

LET'S CREATE OUR OWN MOMENT~vicious_wolfNovember 15 2009, 03:52:53 UTC
Waverunner was just walking nicely now, and Moon just enjoying the feel of sitting on a horse pony again. He also heard footsteps, and turned his head, and made the pony turn a bit. The girl didn't seem familiar, and she didn't look American either. One of those Hispanics? Anywho, she was cute.
Moon stopped Waverunner, and looked closer at her. " Do you need anything?" he asked. Waverunner nudged Emiliana's head gently.
"Basta, basta," she said with a small laugh, gently pushing the pony's face away from her shoulder. Stroking its mane absently, Emiliana stared up at Moon before giving another small shrug. "I should be fine. I don't think the bus will take longer than an hour," she replied with a smile. Though, she herself wasn't sure of that. Just because the weather had eased up a bit didn't mean anything.
And, also, she had wandered away from the short blond and his friend quite quickly after sensing the awkward emotion in the air. That was a bit rude. She should probably go back, apologize, compliment the ranch, and go on her merry way before she ended up paying for a pony ride and in turn miss her bus.
" One hour is a long time to wait by yourself." Moon pointed out, and gave himself a little mental slap. Man.... He hoped it wasn't THAT obvious that he was starting to show a slight hint of interest.
But, it had been a while since he'd actually socialized with girls that were NOT like family to him. And it had been more than half a year since his girlfriend dumped him.
"It's not that bad," Emiliana replied, hands rubbing together to stay warm. She probably shouldn't mention that she carried around a pocket knife and pepper spray, too. That would probably scare the poor man away. "And, anyway, I'm keeping you from enjoying your ride," she said sheepishly, face flushing against her will.
God, hopefully the flush she had acquired from the cold managed to hide that.
" Don't worry about it. It seems she likes you anyway." he said, smiling. Waverunner did look like she'd taken a liking to Emi. The pony nudged her cheek softly, and a little idea struck Moon. It was clear that Waverunner wanted to. " I got the ride for free. And I'd hate for you to wait all by yourself. Climb on." he said, holding his hand out for her to grab.
Do I smell a new couple in the making? 8Dtoris_toriNovember 16 2009, 22:17:25 UTC
Once Moon had left Toris turned back to Feliks as he was opening the gift. Unsure exactly what the other thought of it, since he seemed a little shell shocked. Once the other girl came, she sighed a little, relieved, though still curious to what Feliks thought of the gift. Toris had never really know much about Fashion, or anything pertaining to it.
Once the girl had run off (he never had gotten her name...) Toris turned back to Feliks, head tilted a little in worry. What if he hated the gift? What if he'd been wrong?
He shuffled one of his feet against the ground a little nervously, "If...if you hate it, I can return it?"
And it's not us XDponies_omgNovember 16 2009, 22:36:41 UTC
Feliks barely remembered the waitress. It had been a while but unfortunately, Moon seemed to capture her attention and the distraction he so desperately wanted left before he had any time to recover from the shock of Toris' gift.
There was an uncomfortable silence until Toris asked his question. "What? No! Oh my God! No! I totally love it! I-" think that this is such a perfect gift and you're always so kind and considerate like this and I totally don't want to admit that I'm like, seriously getting a crush on you but I don't want to because that'd be like, so awkward what with us being roommates and all, Feliks thought to himself. "-I, really, love it," he said instead, feeling like the air wasn't nearly cold enough to keep his face from heating up.
Ugh. Need something else to talk about. Seriously. "Uh, so anyway, would you like some cake? I got a like a big one inside the barn."
Nope, totally not ustoris_toriNovember 16 2009, 22:58:33 UTC
After hearing that Feliks liked the necklace, Toris relaxed into a full smile, not one that many people got to see on a daily basis. Toris wasn't one to smile fully, his smiles were more like the small, almost unnoticeable if you didn't look close enough smiles. Clearly he did not catch onto the awkwardness of the actual situation.
"Sure." He said simply heading back to the barn. When Feliks didn't follow for a moment, Toris looked back, confused, tilting his head to the side, "Coming?"
Oh Toris~ you'll always be his favorite heartbreakerponies_omgNovember 17 2009, 03:28:18 UTC
Smile. So. Cute.
No. No nononononononononono no. Can't think like this. Shouldn't think like this. Damn it. Nie wierzę w to.
"Y-yeah. I'm coming," he said completely forgetting about the other two riding around. He jogged to catch up and purposefully walked a step ahead of Toris. Really, this shouldn't be a big deal. Nope. Just because he's nice and everything didn't mean this meant all that much to him in the long run. He's just a guy with a cute smile. Nothing to flip out over. Right. Good. So that's that then.
Feliks held open the door to the small room with bright pink cake. "I totally had to get the pony themed cake," he said proudly.
