November was much too early for snow, Peter reasoned as he hurried down the street. It hadn't occurred to him that November 11th was Veteran's Day in good ol'America and that many of the places - including Liberty University - were closed for the day. Imagine his surprise when he stumbled into the lecture hall to find it dark, locked, and devoid of human. All under the merry roaring of snow ( ... )

"What kind of boyfriend makes his smaller, less cold-resistant lover go to get baker's chocolate from a candy shop across town? In the snow?!" Eduard fumed as he navigated his way through the drifts of snow that had replaced the sidewalk. "I hope Aroon likes his chocolate flash-frozen."

In all seriousness, the weather was going from merely unpleasant to dangerous. Eduard had no idea how he was going to get back to Aroon in time. There was no way to walk back and taxis and buses were out of the question. He wasn't even getting cell service right now. He had no choice but to take shelter in the candy shop. At least he wouldn't starve.

Arriving in the store, Eduard experience a wave of much needed heat. It was clearly an upscale venue. Eduard should have suspected as much. Aroon wouldn't have sent him to the next best shop.

"Even if it was closer," he thought ( ... )

SORRY I'M LATE find_a_fin November 14 2009, 17:53:52 UTC
When someone suddenly glomped Tino, the Finnish man couldn't see who it was at first, but after he heard the familiar voice, the corners of his mouth turned upwards, even though he still wasn't sure if he could move his frozen arms enough to return the hug.

"Hi, Peter," he said, patting his back clumsily. "It's not the best possible weather outside right now, huh?"

After the warmth had affected him enough to let him move his fingers almost normally, Tino took his beanie off and unwrapped the scarf around his neck. He had experienced heavy snowstorms in his life but he hadn't expected to experience one in here. Shaking the snow from his hair and wiping the melted snow from his pink cheeks, Tino sighed deeply before taking a better look at Peter. "Such a coincidence to meet you here!" He glanced around the shop. "...Wow... I didn't know about this place." Such luck to stumble upon this right now. I would've turned into a living snowman had I stayed out there any longer. Shivering a bit, Tino noticed the wallet that Peter still held in ( ... )

Peter lingered on the hug for a moment longer before he finally let go and stood up straight and proper. Tino was so warm in his coat - oh, what was he saying? The Finnish man just radiated warmth wherever he was! It was one of the many things he adored about Tino. Grinning, he nodded and lifted up his wallet in sight. He opened it as he spoke ( ... )

ALLOW ME TO CRUSH YOUR BONDING MOMENT prof_awsm November 15 2009, 20:44:37 UTC
"Tino?" Eduard inquired, walking towards the pair. "It is you! I guess this is good because now you won't worry about me being lost out in the snow. Though I admit I'm a bit confused as to what you are doing here. I only came because I'm doing an errand for Aroon."

Eduard wasn't sure that he needed to explain himself to Tino, but the explanation was also to ward off any wild accusations from Peter. Of course they were wild because Peter would make them without any logical backing so Eduard wasn't sure his plan would work anyways.

"Small world," he continued, ignoring his inner monologue, "I wouldn't have imagined I would run into you. It feels like we never see each other even though we live together."

Having said this, he glanced coldly at Peter.

"Peter. How fitting. I certainly would have expected to see you here. I know how much you love youthful things."

Eduard was sending all his worst thoughts at Peter, while letting that last crack about the Kirkland boy's adoration for Raivis sink in.

OH MY, COULD THIS REALLY BE TINO BETWEEN TWO SEMI-ENEMIES? THE UNIVERSE REALLY WORKS AGAINST HIM find_a_fin November 16 2009, 20:17:01 UTC
Tino looked at Peter and smiled, rubbing his palms together to make them warm again when he catched a glimpse of the younger man pouting at his wallet for some reason. Maybe he's broke..? Even though he wasn't usually one to share too much physical contact with his friends, with Peter Tino had come to notice that by now he had gotten used to the hugs and glomps he seemed to always receive when they saw each other. He partly blamed Peter's childish and ehtusiastic aura for this. Sometimes it was hard to believe that the boy was already 18 and only few years yonger than him. Oh well... Maybe I just grew old too fast.

Just as Tino was about to answer Peter to tell him that he had also been driven here by the snow, he heard a familiar voice speak out his name, and he turned around, seeing none other than his dear roommate. "Oh, Eduard, you're here too?" Small world indeed, even here in America...Nodding at Eduard's remark about them rarely seeing each other, Tino shrugged his shoulders and smiled lopsidedly, still completely unaware of ( ... )
