Why did she even bother waking up early today? She knew a couple of her teachers were sick, so there were very few classes this week. Kim sighed, taking a bite of a chocolate she'd bought a few minutes ago.
Yeah, she could've slept in, since she had only two classes today. Or maybe three, if they found someone to fill in for that class. But it had become a habit to wake up early, and since the apartment always had people in it after Romano moved in, it was nice to get out a bit.

Baroque Street was pretty crowded today. No wonder, with the market full of different things that fit everyone in all ages.

Was that a loud shout? She turned her head in reflex, wondering where it came from.

" My purse!!" some woman obviously cried.

Kim grumbled. A purse snatcher? How rude.

It was at this very moment that a particularly big stranger shoulder bumped Matthew making him drop his bag on the ground. A canceled class he didn't know about, getting bumped into by strangers, and dropping his bag? Matt's annoyance was slowly rising. Oblivious to what was going on around him Matt stopped to retrieve his bag when someone else bumped him from behind. Reflexively throwing his arms outwards to try and balance himself, he let out a "woah!" as he fell sideways and.. caught himself? Really? Today might not turn out to be such a bad day after all, he thought allowing himself a small smile ( ... )

The guy cursed in some odd language that sounded Polish or German or something. Not that it really mattered. He'd lost the purse, thanks to whatever kid he'd crashed into. Really, he didn't notice him until after running into him? Were kids really that good at hiding these days?

Kim had seen what had happened, being a few feet away. Ouch, that didn't look too good, getting hit like that. She hurried over, and also saw the woman who'd gotten her purse stolen. " Here you go, ma'am." she said, giving it back, before turning to the two.
" Get off him." she said, dragging the man off, who scoffed and walked off in anger.

" Are you ok?" Kim asked, looking at the boy. Alfred? Was it him?

"Ugh." Matt groaned in pain as he lay on the pavement. As the man was lifted off of him he opened his eyes and saw a woman standing above him. "Oh, um..." shoot, Matt thought as he began to blush.

"Oh yeah, fine, Uh, where did the other guy go?" he asked sitting up, Jeez, the back of his head hurt and he didn't doubt there would be a bruise there.
