Antonio had just kicked off his shoes when a yell came from his bedroom. He was slightly confused but nodded in confirmation. However, he remembered that Lovi couldn't exactly see him and so had to call out ( ... )

To be entirely honest, Romano couldn't care less about his position, or it's implications concerning whatever was inside Antonio's closet. Quickly shoving the small metal wire back into his pocket Romano rose to his feet, only allowing for a moment's eye contact before returning to his belongings on the other side of the room.

"Open the closet. I wanna put my stuff in." Whether he had any idea how rude this statement was, or just didn't care, had such little significance that Romano didn't bother to waste another second thinking about it.
Yes, he was feeling guilty, and yes he had made some attempts to be nicer to the Spaniard. But there was still another part of him that was really just, uncivilized. And it was that part that failed to connect 'clearing floor space' with 'announcing his long-term stay and pushing Antonio even further out of his own room.'

Still, there was reason he wasn't making much eye contact.

Antonio, being himself, didn't connect the fact that Romano was moving his stuff in with the fact that meant he would be staying for a long time. So, without hesitation he pulled his key out of his pocket and with a couple of deft movements he had the doors open and the key back into his pocket. The spanish man walked past the Italian and pushed the dirty uniforms to one side of the closet into a pile that needed to be washed ( ... )

Romano cocked an eyebrow at the pile of dirty clothes, silently questioning why they were there and not in the laundry or something. He wondered if apartments of this quality even had a laundry.

There was no way he was going to manually unpack everything now, he just simply wanted it off the floor and into a more well-hidden corner. Taking out a few of the topmost jackets Romano hung them on the hangers Antonio had made vacant and proceeded to kneel down to lift the entire duffel bag. He was in the middle of dumping it -or trying to dump it, not being as tall as he had hoped- on the topmost shelf when the bag's end nicked the door shut.

"-it automatically locks from the outside"...What?" Still almost cradling the bag, Romano glanced back over his shoulder at the door. The door that was now closed. And locked ( ... )

Antonio continued his movements, making tight circles and pretending as if the bull was coming after him. He even made the swooshing noise with his arms as they moved. As he turned to make another round around the closet he managed to run into one of the shelves and knock himself off balance. He made a noise of surprise before falling over and landing in the dirty cloths with a thud.

"Well that was slick" Antonio laughed loudly, unfazed by his klutzy maneuver. He looked up at the Italian sitting on the shelf. He reached back and put his arms behind his head and smiling wide.
He closed his eyes and raised one arm up in the arm straight up in the air. He then promptly began to hum and wave his hand back and forth. Despite that he had worked nearly 18 hours straight he found himself in an extremely good mood.

Romano couldn't deny that he jolted forward at the collision, leaning over to check that Antonio was alright. Once that was confirmed however, he was quick to resume his position, looking away and scoffing at the man's behaviour.
There was no way he would give Antonio the honour of seeing him enjoy himself, especially not because of something the Spaniard had done.
"Retard."

However what Antonio did next entirely confused him, and Romano was left staring at him with a raised eyebrow and clueless expression. They'd only been in the closet for ten minutes and he was already going insane.
And unlike his friend, Romano had done close to nothing the whole day.

Antonio chuckled gently to himself before bringing his arm down to cover his mouth at a stifled yawn. Once the yawn was through, he forced himself to a sitting position and tilting his head to the side gently. Antonio had to admit it, Romano had the cutest scoff ever. Well, cute to him anyway.

"Hey Lovi~ Come here. I have something for you" He said with a wide smile. He pulled his legs to a crossed position and placed his hands in his lap. He knew that Romano would ask why, but at this point in time he really didn't care about that.
All he knew was that he wanted the Italian closer to him.

Just as the words left his mouth however, the light above him flickered and went out without warning. Antonio looked up at the light as if that was going to help. However, when it didn't he just continued blinking for for a few more moments before turning and looking in the direction that Lovi was in.

Romano pulled a "are you serious" face at him, not really trusting the Spaniard after ever other time he'd tried to get 'closer' to him. The wide grin wasn't really helping much either. It was such a childish request, and foolish if Antonio really ever expected the Italian to comply.

Rising to his feet Romano gave a characteristic frown, taking two cautious steps towards his friend and stopping again. "The hell do you want?"
Unfortunately, it was then that the light decided to go out, leaving him to stand clueless and awkward in the middle of the closet. "What the-.." Oh this was just great. Stuck indefinitely in a small closet with a slightly-too-happy affectionate Spaniard, and the light dies.
Sighing Romano carefully reached out with his hands, shuffling his feet towards what he hoped would be a wall or line or clothes..or something.
It wasn't that he was afraid of the dark or anything- what could possibly go wrong in a small closet like this. He just didn't like all the creepily malformed figures and silhouettes his mind liked ( ... )

So short DX and so late </3 mustlovetomato October 11 2009, 21:30:50 UTC
When Romano pulled back to look Antonio full in the face, Antonio felt his breath catch lightly. He'd never seen the italian so vulnerable, so....scared before. Romano been scared in the past, actually was scared of almost everything, but not like this. Not of letting someone in or rather of actually letting someone in. As a result of this, he immediately tried to show Romano how much he cared, how he sincerely just wanted to be with him and nothing else ( ... )

Pssh Toni xD Just screw him already. italian_honour October 12 2009, 00:37:25 UTC
[ooc: short DX done in lecture xD; ]

He didn't object, Romano had no fight left in him to do so. A defiant voice in the back of his head was still screaming at him to stop, to strike Antonio or something, but that voice was insignificant and drowning fast.

Whether Antonio had realised or it not, the Italian's 'wall' had not necessarily been broken down. Rather it had simply changed it's form, from a stubborn conscience to a very patient, doting Spaniard.

No words could describe what this meant for Romano's dependency, as he pressed his head against the other's chest and stared out into the darkness.
"You better not go back to Spain, Antonio."

It felt awkward and strange talking (or rather muttering into his shirt) after such silence, such events, not to mention actually calling him by his name for once..

Antonio wrapped his arms around Romano once more, engulfing him in the warm embrace once more. Despite the fact that almost constantly, the spanish man couldn't read the environment or know what other people meant by things they said, he knew the significance of what Lovi said.

"Don't worry. I'm not going anywhere Romano" He whispered gently. Antonio looked down at the Italian's head and smiled his first true smile in a while. Romano wanted him. Probably not in the way that Antonio wanted the Italian but at least enough to ask tell him to stay. Now that they had gotten that far, the Spanish man wouldn't be going home for a while.

Not only had he called Romano by his real name, but the serious note in his voice made sure that his the italian knew how he really felt.
Though, if he didn't by now than something was wrong.
