Alfred was stuck between trying to burying his face in the menu because Ivan was being pretty rude while also trying not to laugh because listening to some old Russian dude gripe about couples in love was pretty priceless. Instead he peeked over the top of list of food, eyes darting over to the couple he was talking about.

"I dunno," he said, folding up the menu, plopping his chin on his hand, still watching the snappish couple, shrugging. "Some relationships only work with yelling and making up. But whatever, Valentine's Day is kiiiiind of cheesy, even for me! But it's nice to have an excuse to take you out for dinner."
