Kiku was honestly not sure how it had come to this, but somehow Willem had talked him into it. A double date. With Sindre and his boyfriend, who Kiku had never met. He had even made preparations for anmitsu.
As Willem knocked on the door, Kiku thought back to the last time they had been here. It had been...a disaster to say the least. Between crossed feelings and injuries and misplaced intentions...he couldn't help but blush in embarrassment at the memory.
Opening the door, Sindre gestured them inside. "Glad you convinced Kiku to come," he said as he led them through to the kitchen.
As he passed by Berwald, he squeezed his hand briefly before resuming setting up the table. "Berwald, this is Kiku and Wilm," he introduced. "Kiku, Wilm, this is Berwald."
Berwald nodded at the two others, hovering a few steps behing Sindre.
While Sindre had been preparing the... whale, and he tried not to think about that too much because weren't they supposed to be a protected species or... something, Berwald had been cleaning up the rest of the house. Once there was a bit less going on in the kitchen he'd also put some potatoes to boil and made sure (again) there's be ingredients for the waffle dough, which he intended to make after they'd already eaten, to make sure it would be fresh. Waffles were quick to make, after all.
Then he'd realized he also needed to clean up the kitchen, which he finished up just in time.
Standing there in the tiny hallway of the apartment, he realized he'd forgotten to take the apron he'd been wearing in the kitchen off, and tugged it away quickly, folding the cloth over his arm.
"I actually already know Berwald." Willem replied. The man looked much better then the last two times Willem had seen him, although he still looked a bit nervous. The Dutchman couldn't help but wonder, irrationally, if the Swede was ever going to be comfortable in his presence.
"Where should I set this?" he asked, indicating the food and drinks he had brought.
Taking the apron from Berwald, Sindre nodded toward the table. "What we'll eat now, you can just set on the table," he replied. Holding out his hand, he added, "I'll put the drinks away, if you'd like."
After stowing the apron back in its place and tucking the beer into the refrigerator, Sindre pulled out four beers to take to the table. "Sit, everyone," he insisted. "The rest of the food shall be ready momentarily."
Willem nodded, setting his bowl on the table near where he planned to sit. He had stuck a large spoon in before he left, so he simply removed the top and set it under. Noticing how nervous Kiku looked he pulled out a chair and gestured for the other man to sit. He reached to take the dessert from him to place in the icebox.

Taking a look around the apartment, he realized that he was standing in the midst of three tall, attractive blonde men. And also that this was a date.
Feeling a bit lost, he shyly studied the floor, waiting on instruction.
