When: Thursday, April 28th, around lunchtime
Where: Gilbert's house
What: It's roommate bromance time, kids.

Gilbert already had the other supposed 'roomie' inside. He'd said his name was Emmanuel and while that was the name Kai had told him, he was still a little wary.

When he'd first knocked, the Prussian ushered him inside and placed him smack-dab in the middle of the living room, trying to hide just how EXCITED he was to finally have someone there.

He'd been getting... Kinda lonely.

Which was not his style. Gilbert Beilschmidt never got lonely!

Before he could ask the kid if he wanted anything to drink, there was a knock at the door and he looked over. "Hey, you." He said, looking down at him. "If you wanna drink something, just go to the kitchen... Ignore the mess."

The mess was easy enough to ignore. Because the whole apartment was a mess. One was one with the mess in here. At least Gilbert's areas, My Lihn kept her space freakin' clean. Oh well.

Noodling over to the door, Gilbert opened it and grinned at the Dane. "About time you showed up, the other kid's already here. Come in."

It was a mess. A mess that an awkward Puerto Rican was standing in.
It wasn't as though he'd met either of these guys before. He'd really only spoken with Kai on the internet.
Oh well. Desperate times.

He stood quietly along the wall, waiting for Kai- at least he'd /met/ him before- and tried not to be strange. NOt that he knew what Gilbert might find strange.

At least he didn't have to wait too long. Kai arrived shortly after him, and Manny smiled. Hopefully, things would go alright.

Kai had started to respond to Gilbert until his eyes lay upon.. "the mess". And then the world faded to grey.

Oh hell, this was going to have to change.

He swallowed back the pestering voice of 'clean it up clean it up clean it up organize organize organize' to instead offer the German a typical good-natured grin, trying to not let go of an opportunity like the one at hand. Once they were roommates he could tidy up and keep the house in spectacular order.

Maybe.

"Sorry for running so behind; the buses here are fucking a nightmare," Kai explained as he traipsed along behind Gilbert, inspecting the space time and again to gain a better view of where he might soon be calling home. "Practically gotta kill yourself if you want to get anywhere.. Oh hey!" He lifted his eyes as well as a hand in greeting to Manny upon their arrival, grin growing a shade or two brighter. "You must be Manny, yeah? Good to finally meet you!"

Gilbert looked over at the pair as he closed the door. Suddenly, with two new people standing amid the mess, Gilbert could actually see "The Mess". His Germanic blood suddenly pounding in his ears, he picked up a shoe, putting it next to its partner near the door, clearing his throat.

"Yeah, I'll start drivin' you places Kai, if you live here." It wasn't supposed to come out all snide, but it did and Gilbert tried to smile. He really was not used to people and it was showing.

What was social interaction again?
