Who: Kai and Willem When: Sunday Evening, March 20th Where: Willem's apartment What: The Dutchman and the pint-sized Dane finally meet, though very much at a whim.
Great, he thought bitterly. Now he was scarring people he'd never met. Taking a deep breath, he stepped back from the door.
"Come inside." he told the other man, gesturing into the apartment proper. "You can put whatever that is on the counter."
He studied the younger man, remembering what he'd heard about him Sindre. It appeared he'd been right to say the Dane was related to Søren considering his looks, but personality wise he wasn't so sure anymore.
"You're Kai right? That's what Søren and Sindre use, but if you'd prefer something different I can call you that as well."
There was an important lesson Kai apparently had never learned growing up: don't trust strangers. But was Wilm really a stranger? He was Søren's friend. And he was from Europe. And he had nice hair! And he was Søren's friend

Willem sighed. That was about how he expected Sindre to deal with it. It upset him though, since he'd only said anything because he'd thought to bring together two people he cared about.
Instead he'd apparently only hurt them both, and that stung.
Sounds like a plan to me~danskannabisMarch 31 2011, 02:39:03 UTC
Kai frowned over seeing the other so perplexed and downtrodden, serving him with another small punch to the shoulder to try and waken his spirits back to something brighter. "It ain't your fault, you know," He offered with a sympathetic half smile. "You were just trying to help out. You did want anyone would have done."
"And only reason I can place to why Søren would do that.." He trailed off, not really having many words to offer the Dutchman. He wished he could have the perfect answer on command, the solution to their predicament, but he honestly had no idea why the older Dane was being such a goddamn coward. ".. I can only assume he's scared of something. I have no idea what, but.."
"What I should have done is go to Søren and tell him I was pretty sure Sindre had feelings for him. Then he could have told me what his problem is, he wouldn't be pissed at me for telling his secret, and Sindre wouldn't be mad at me for Søren's stupidity."
In fact, now that he thought about it, that was the perfect solution to this whole mess. And he felt a bit stupid for not thinking of it earlier.
He ducked his head a bit and traded glance between the tops of his shoes and back to the other's face, absently chewing at his lip piercing as he thought over his words, expression twisting each time the sensitive area was pulled more than necessary. "That's good and all," he began with a small cough.
"But. Should haves, would haves, and could haves don't change the things that have already happened, yeah? It's good to muse, but as Søren told me not too long ago you can should, would, and could all you want. Until you do something about it, ain't nothing going to get done. You did something about it the first time; maybe.. maybe it's time to stop waiting for Søren to get his ass off his shoulders and do something again."
