Glancing down toward where Kim waited, Sindre shook his head. If she wanted to waste time, that was fine by him. They still had seven minutes before the pre-arranged start of the fight.

No snowballs could be thrown until then, but no one said anything about starting prepared.

Placing a ball on top of his second pile, Sindre examined his area with a critical eye. He was toward the top of a small rise in the land, wide tree at his back, and a decent sized wall in front of him. Gaps were left at the sides for easy entering and exiting, and he had left enough space between the wall and the tree so he was unlikely to get penned in. With the addition of two piles of pre-made snowballs, he was set.

Staring at his watch, he watched the numbers click down. Three. Two. One.

Here we go.

Picking up his first ball, he took aim at Kim's head, and fired.

Pre-made snowballs had been a good idea. Kim's piles weren't as big as Sindre's, and she'd probably regret it, and also using a big tree for cover, but today was about fun.

Wasn't it?

She barely managed to duck away from the first snowball, the white fluffy ball grazing her cheek as it zoomed by her face. Kim got behind her tree, and picked up a snowball, eyes frowning as she aimed her first real shot, and took it.

The ball went flying towards him, aiming for his head in return.

Spotting the incoming projectile at the last moment, Sindre was only just able to duck, catching the ball on his shoulder. However, the dodge had caused him to lose sight of his opponent.

Ducking below his wall, he scanned the area. There were only a few trees wide enough to hide a person in her entirety, and he kept his eyes on them, waiting for movement.

Spying a bit of color sticking out beyond one trunk, Sindre quickly scooped up two balls. Taking aim, he threw one at that spot of color, keeping the second one ready.

"Oof!" that one hit her in the shoulder, and she threw one at him right away, before ducking behind the tree, clutching another snowball.

The weather was nice. Sunny and no harsh wind, so there was no excuse NOT to do this today. Kim peeked out from behind the tree, scanning the area by that fancy little wall he'd built for himself. That wall wouldn't hold forever.

She'd make sure of that. Somehow.
