LU: Where the Wild Things Are...?

Who: Sindre and Chai
When: January 19th, some time in the early afternoon.
Where: Liberty University campus.
What: Chai's first visit to LU in where things happen...

( And it all starts off from a chance encounter with Sindre. )

status: incomplete, yes we do attend classes?, where am i, oh snap!, it's not what you think, norway, stay in school kids, thailand, i can haz friends?

Sindre dropped onto the bench without an inch of grace. As convenient as it was to have the remainder of the day free, packing all of his classes into the early part of the day was far from stress-free. He just wanted a few moments to himself so he could decompress before rushing to the shop. Especially as he could feel something lurking on the horizon.

With his luck, he'd discover that Kai and Feliks were becoming fast friends.

Taking out his lunch, he unwrapped his sandwich carefully, dragging out the time he had. Madame Maime always accepted his need to eat, and he could delay going in if he kept his pace slow.

A quick glance up showed this hope to be denied. One of the shop nisse stood before him, looking harried. "Petra?" he asked, too startled to be quiet. "What are you doing out here? Is everything all right?"

Chai stood up. Sitting around wasn't going to get him anywhere. He might as well wander around some more. Help wasn't going to come to him, he had to seek it! With new resolve, he began to wander around some more.

...It seems another visit to the temple was in order. Where had he collected all this bad karma from?!? Every person he stumbled upon seemed to be too rude, too busy or even lost themselves. Chai was beginning to get exasperated at his own situation but he tried to maintain a smile. There was no point getting worked up over this.

But he was near his limit. Was this it? Was this the end? Chai's imagination, partially fueled by Thai soaps and K-dramas began to think of all the possible (note: unrealistic) scenarios. Could it be... this was all a dream? Was he trapped in some sort of alternate reality? Perhaps this was part of a plot? Was he was a secret son of a chaebol and now he's being kidnapped for his inheritance ( ... )

"...and someone knocked over a jar of salt crystals and new kid missed many of them while sweeping up so we can't pass to get to the back of the store and we think one of the children got back there and is enchanting random objects and you have to get back!" Petra ended her spiel on a wail ( ... )

The stranger's sudden movement at his voice made Chai jump as well. He could feel his heart leap out of his chest and right back in all at once. The man must not have noticed him approaching. From the unwrapped sandwich, Chai deduced that the man must have been eating lunch ( ... )
