(ooc: This is going to be FUN. >:3)

Gupta took the bus, not because his mother didn't have a car (she did, and she had a very nice one at that) but because he actually liked the public transportation. It was far more functional here in America than it had been in Egypt, and he loved seeing the different parts of the city go by. In his opinion, it was the fastest and easiest way to learn your way around a city without having to drive around or waste a lot of gas yourself.

Eventually, the bus pulled up to the Baths, a homely-looking place he had only seen in magazines. Bundling up properly (he had no less than three layers and two scarves on) before he stepped outside, the Egyptian stuck his hands into his pockets and quickly shuffled off the bus. The cold air hurt as he sucked it into his lungs, and he shuddered in misery as he hurried into the building. The warm air that immediately descended upon him was a huge, immense relief. Snuggling into his scarf, he just took a moment to bathe in it, not even noticing that Sadiq had already ( ... )

... Honestly I don't even remember picking that LOL turkishsurprise November 5 2010, 04:10:59 UTC
The door jingled, signaling that another occupant had entered the building, and Sadiq hardly had to turned to recognize the short bundle beside him. Clad in scarves and layers of clothing that would otherwise look ridiculous on such a small guy, Gupta appeared entirely too delighted with the warmth to care. The tip of his nose was turning a little less pink from the cold that had nipped it, but the older man had to refrain from inspecting his friend further, even if the boy made himself an intriguing thing to look at all the time.

So to keep himself from collapsing in on himself and being all sorts of weird, he cleared his throat impatiently to grab Gupta's attention. "Took ya long enough."

Hahahaha 'kay. xD Sadiq, WHY SO TSUNDERE?!! bornofisis November 5 2010, 04:54:28 UTC
Gupta turned at the other's voice and smiled, although the motion was only visible around his cheek area since his scarf covered half his face. Slowly, he raised his hands and began to unravel his first scarf, then the one under that one. When his face was finally visible, he walked up to Sadiq, stood on tip toe and kissed the man on both cheeks (his usual way of greeting the taller man nowadays).

"Hello. I am sorry," he looked sheepish, "The bus was late. Did you wait a long time?"

Gupta's smile was small but charming, nearly unnoticeable around the layers of scarves, though Sadiq really did have to tear his eyes away. This was going to be more difficult that he had anticipated. Choosing not to stand around and watch his friend remove the cotton from around his neck, Sadiq rolled his eyes and gave a short, though gruff, reply in turn. "Nah, wasn't here long. Don't gotta say sorry all the time ( ... )
