WHO: Moon, Junior WHEN: Saturday, October 30th, Evening WHERE: A rainy sidewalk outside of the Charleston WHAT: Once again, Junior finds himself, angry, betrayed and homeless.
Moon sometimes enjoyed rainy days. If there were any fires, it would put them out for them. Sure it could mean a boring day with lots of paperwork and just working out in the gym, but it was a nice little break on rare occasions.
He'd gotten off his shift now, and was heading home. The rain was getting heavier, so he wanted to hurry.
But on the way, he noticed someone by the Charleston building. Had they lost their key or something? He came closer, noticing the person wasn't exactly wearing clothes suitable for a rainy day. And he seemed to be moping...
"Are you alright?" he asked. He just couldn't help himself. Moon was used to helping people, so it came automatically now.
Junior looked up at the voice, scowling. Whoever was interrupting his moment of peace was certainly not welcome. He found himself looking up at an asian man with long, black hair.
Shifting under his gaze, he looked away, coughing. "It's fine. I'm just fine." He repeated, clenching his fists. "I'm just out of a home and cold and poor and stupidly depressed. I'm just fine."
He glared up at the man, as if daring him to try and help.
So he didn't live at the Charleston. But didn't the guy have any friends or family he could stay with? At least for the night? "That doesn't sound fine." he said. "What's your name, kid?"
