No way was Gilbert going to let an employee of his buy some costume off some rack of some internet website. No way in hell. He'd spent exactly one night looking up old Prussian princesses and dresses before coming up with the perfect design. Lili was going to look like a princess. An awesome, tiny, adorable, princess.

He heard the small peeps of Gilbird and removed himself from the depths of the rows of fabrics, rushing towards her, arms filled with the soft and light rolls of delicate fabrics. In his hair was perched a very lovely headband. "Lili, it's awesome you're here, I need to measure you right away."

He placed the fabrics on the counter, smiling at her, taking off the headband and putting it in her hair instead. "Sie sind eine ehrfürchtige Prinzessin~" He said, ruffling her hair as Gilbird fluttered to land in his hair, "Now go on, take off that heavy coat."

[translation: you will be an awesome princess]

Noting the sad tone in her voice, Gilbert shook his head. She didn't deserve to be sad, she hadn't done anything. Plus she was his worker. And it was almost his job to make sure she was okay and happy. Not that he'd tell her; but she was quickly becoming another Ludwig in Gilbert's life. Someone he could boss around while spoiling unconsciously.

So, he offered a hand with a flourishing bow, winking. "Tanz mit mir, Prinzessin~" And, taking her hands the Prussian starting to spin her, humming (totally not that aristocrat's terrible music though). It was amazing how well he remembered the steps from his days as a young adult. But he was Gilbert and this was easy.

"I'm sure he'll love the dress."

Lili was surprised to say the least when Gilbert had asked her to dance, but with a returning smile, she let her boss take her hands and begin to move around their workplace. The princess was glad that this was just a casual dance. It had been a while since she had done this since she never really got the opportunity to do so. Thankfully Gilbert was good enough to make up for most of her rusty steps as they spun through the shop.

If Vash truly did end up loving the dress, she would be so very happy. Gilbert said that he would with such confidence that she couldn't help but believe him. But for now, she was happy enough to know that her boss cared. Well obviously he did. She knew of no one else that would go to such lengths to make her happy, even for such a simple holiday like Halloween. Gilbert was indeed awesome.

"Danke Gilbert. You're the best boss ever."
