Finally, Eduard was able to just walk out of the computer room, after a horrid day of mundane tasks, having nothing to do with his research. In other words, maintenance. He groaned under his breath, and stretched, eyes falling shut as his back popped.
Absolute bliss settled on his features for a single second, before he looked around him, seeing a girl on a bench, and stopping there. She was beautiful, butthat was not what caught his attention. What did catch his attention was the cry she let out, the look on her face, and the laptop on her lap.
There was no mistake, this girl was a victim of the same problem that he was trying to avoid all day. The Blue Screen Of Death. He approached her slowly, and looked down at her. "Uh, miss, is something the matter?"
The sudden question made Kim jump, and she turned around, seeing a blonde boy standing nearby. She quickly looked back at her laptop, just knowing if she looked at him too long it would mess with her mentally.
"My computer died..." was all she said. It was the truth, and she couldn't really afford a new laptop yet, so the only solution was to get it repaired.
"At least I saved my work..." she said with a sigh, leaning back against the back of the bench, glaring at the blue screen, glaring back at her again.
Eduard stared for a few moments thoughtfully. On the one hand, he didn't want to see another broken computer in the next ten years. On the other hand, if he said he couldn't fix it, and she found out, he'd be ridiculed. So, he settled for fixing the damn laptop.
"I work in the IT department, I could help you out," he replied, hurting inside.

"Really? That would be great." she said, looking at him again. She really couldn't afford to get a new one yet...
