WHO: Elizaveta y Atthis WHEN: Sunday Afternoon, September 26th WHERE: The Streets of Liberty outside Dues Ex Machina- and beyond WHAT: It's not what it looks like, ma'am.

Elizaveta checked her watch as she crossed the road quickly. If she hurried, she could make it in time for that new shop's opening sale. She smiled, humming to herself.
Turning the corner, she swore she saw something shift in the corner of her eye. A breeze passed by as she turned to look behind her. There was just a crowd of people. She shrugged and kept on walking.

On the move again and dammit, Atthis's two-too-many-inch heels were killing her feet. Rapidly, painfully. She would have thrashed Thera upside the head with them long ago were it not for her conscience always there to remind her that they called it 'manslaughter' in America and her business would suffer terribly for it.
She stumbled once, clutching onto the side of the nearest building into which she had inevitably careened. There was The Beauty, dashing ever farther from her grasp.
Atthis bit her lip, tilted her chin up and stepped back into full stride. If she sped up just a bit more...

Catching herself at the edge of the crowd, she stayed on the fray for a while before disappearing into the store, elbows held out proudly. Shopping was a tough business.
MY RIBS. MY RIIIIIBS....sapphicfragmentSeptember 27 2010, 04:43:20 UTC
By the Gods did the woman have an arm.
It was that proud and ready pose that caught Atthis off guard enough to swing directly en route to her ribs, prodding her in some nameless must-have-been-a-pressure-point manner which heretofore did render her almost entirely in wheezes.
She stumbled after Elizaveta with a look of anguish, all harsh breathing and ragged pants. Her features were twisted into an angry grimace, her voice was harsh but she reached out to grab onto a slender shoulder undeterred with breath enough only for a raspy-
