WHO: The fabulous Sherlock Feliks and Dr. Feliciano Watson
WHEN: August 8, Late Afternoon
WHERE: Feli's hood.
WHAT: Feliks still needs to find his future, that his hippie lost!, and enlists an equal mind for this kind of serious operation.
Feliks' senior year was approaching. His future was still missing. He’d suddenly found this important. He had just ignored the fact until then because he didn’t need a future! His future needed him, but even though that was true the darn thing hadn’t come crawling back to him yet! His future would come back, it would; it liked him enough; he believed that, he truly did…
After that denial had passed he’d practically attacked his computer and found the rules to a detective story, because life worked like fiction, right? Then, memorized them because he always made sure he never forgot the things that would be most important in life! Plus, he found that he liked these rules…
7. The detective himself must not commit the crime.
They totally ruled him out of fault! So, since these rules said it wasn’t his fault, which it never had been, of course, then it was a mystery! And once the mystery was solved he was going to make sure the hippie locked up his future and didn’t get it taken ever again! He didn’t deal well with all this stress, stress meant wrinkles.
This is what led Feliks to trudging outside, in a residential area, in a pink tweed coat, cape, and detective hat while leaning over a magnifying glass pointed at the ground, with another bundle of clothes in his arms. He looked up and searched around the area, through the glass, before slowly figuring out he had made it in front of Feli’s house. He turned on his heel and continued up the path, stopping in front of the door and hastily knocking on it.
He then stared at it blankly, wondering if he should tell Feli about the ninth rule…
9. The stupid friend of the detective, the Watson, must not conceal from the reader any thoughts which pass through his mind: his intelligence must be slightly, but very slightly, below that of the average reader.
