The worst of the worst. Ever since he had returned, nothing but awful fortune - and just when he thought his life was at the peak of miserable, disaster befell him yet again. Back in America, and back with unfortunate impossible prices, with perhaps the best game on earth in his hands.
Walletless.
Where had he left it? A whole sixty-or-so dollars, painfully saved into his bear printed pouch, stuffed lovingly into his left jacket pocket in hopes of finally making his appearance at the game store. Gone, without a trace. Even after emptying his jacket pockets out bare, stripping his shirt, and just barely stopping at his pants (where the store's employee made a much-needed intervention), his apparent life's hoarded dollar bills had made a quick disappearance into oblivion. Exiting the store through double doors (dressed, thankfully), Yong hunched over, drooping his head dejectedly. Why did life forsake him in this manner? He peeked up as to not ram into anything along his way home, before freezing

"GAH!" Kim didn't even have time to react before she was flat on the floor thanks to the sudden violent tackle.
As if being sore from a workout wasn't bad enough, now Kim was aching all over from the sudden tackle and a tight hug. "Ow..." she mumbled under her breath, before looking up and seeing who it was.
Tactless to the end - that was his unspoken (and unaware) motto, apparently. Korea grabbed the girl's shoulders, shaking them with as much force as he could muster. "KIM," he shouted again, pitch rising to a new high. "KIM, I NEED SIXTY DOLLARS. AND TWENTY SEVEN CENTS." He pointed to the game store, and then his pocket, muddling his explanation into a single breath.
"So I brought my wallet and wanted to buy this game at the store and then it was like BAM I was at the game store and then I looked for my wallet and it wasn't there so I took off my pants trying to find it and got kicked out and NOW I HAVE NO MONEY AND I WANT MY GAME-" he sucked in a gulp of oxygen, and then leaned back onto the street, bottom soundly pressing against the dirty pavement.
"Will you lend me some? Just sixty. I'll pay you back." Eventually.
I'm at the video game store! COME QUICK! IT'S URGENT!!!
And so, it was with the aforementioned texts in her phone that Mei begrudgingly excused herself from her grandmamma's nagging and headed toward the video game store. Perhaps it was a good thing that Yong-Soo did not exactly understand what a credit card was; because, well, that idiot would probably rack up a bill that he couldn't pay and end up heavily in debt. Not that she was worried about that, but she just knew that Yong-Soo would somehow get them involved in his mess.
Mei kept a slow pace, enjoying the fresh August air. Whatever it was that Yong-Soo needed was not going to take priority over her enjoying her summer day off. She took a detour, stopped by the bakery, the japanesebookstore, bought a new CD, ate an ice cream cone, and tried on some shoes before she made it to the video game store

"Everything was in my wallet," Yong wailed loudly, leaning over in a dead slump. "EVERYTHING. EVEN MY BUS PASS." He flailed his arms for a few moments. "So- Please?"
The question stopped him flat. The game he wanted? He couldn't possibly- but he had to- "U-uh. It's-" Saved by the bell. In this case, saved by his sister - he turned around at the voice, jumping to point his gaze at her. "Mei- MEIIII." He ran forward, latching himself onto the young woman's shoulders and draping himself over her like a bedcurtain. "I'll pay for my subscription later-- Just- Lend me sixty dollars!" He let go - even amongst his begging, it wasn't in his best interest to be hit.
Especially not by Mei. And even more especially by Kim.
"I wanted to preorder this game- and- and- And I lost my wallet and then went into the game store and tried to find it and then stripped and got thrown out and then Kim came so I asked her for money and now you're here and I still need sixty dollars-"
He paused, letting his arms drop back to his sides. "And twenty-seven
Seeing how dramatic Yong could be made Kim almost wish he was back in Korea again. She let out a long, aggravated sigh, about to give him a slap when she suddenly saw Mei come over.
And to see him hang over her like he had with her. Such a clingy nagging dork.
"Wait wait.... You stripped?" Kim raised an eyebrow.
Urge to hurt rising... He was taller than them, but that wouldn't stop her...
"What are we to do with you, Yong..." she sighed, facepalming herself.
Mei's instinct drew her hands up to her chest immediately when Yong-Soo draped over her like a wet annoying towel. She didn't bring her hands down until her Korean 'brother' - and she used that term loosely - let go and began to beg for money again.
"What game is this? Because if it's Hamtaro Ham-Ham Challenge on the DS, I am not giving you any money. You are never going to finish it and it'll just go to waste!"
Of course she had heard the stripping part from Yong-Soo and from Kimmy, but she wasn't going to acknowledge that it happened. She shook his head. Just being in the proximity of the Korean was making her skin age.

"Why the hell would I lend you sixty dollars?" she asked, before giving him a light whack on the forehead, looking down at the Korean.
"You need to watch your things better, Yong." she scolded. "And to breathe. Your face is all blue now."
