Who: Toris and Eduard. When: Monday, August 2nd, Afternoon Where: Book Alley. What: After Eduard moves into Liberty, he goes to the local bookshop, and meets his cousin.
Having got a new shipment of books for the coming semester, Toris was busy trying to get them all in the right place, and being the only one there at the time, this was no easy task to accomplish. Hair pulled up and out of his face, he was trying to slide another book into place that seemed to want to be difficult with him. With a frustrated sigh he shifted the books in his other arm to try to get more freedom to get the stubborn novel into its' place.
So focused he was on the time consuming task before him that he didn't notice the door open behind him (or the small bell that should've alerted him to the presence of a customer), so when he heard a voice seeming to appear behind him with no warning, Toris jumped some of the books dropping to the floor in his surprise. One dropped on his foot causing him to hiss slightly before turning to whoever had come in. He was about to put on his best "may I help you?" expression when it died at who stood there.
His eyes widened, when he saw that indeed, he knew that man. He hadn't seen that face in years, and yet... How could he forget, his eldest cousin, Toris! He took a step closer, looking completely amazed. "Toris!"
He smiled, and stepped up to his cousin, taking a book that had fell on the floor, and looking up at the brunette. He had really grown, ever since he last saw him.
His look of complete surprise mixed with bafflement melted into a small smile as he took in his cousin (and long ago best friend along with Raivis), he hadn't changed a lot, which was strangely comforting. He gently took the book from the other's grasp before forcefully putting it into its' proper place, the book sliding in with no problems this time.
"What are you doing here? You never said you were planning on moving." He walked over to one of the desks and set the tower of books down so he could talk properly with Eduard.
He continued helping his cousin out with gathering the books, and putting them in their places, before he heard the other's question. He didn't know..?
Eduard blinked at that, and crossed his arms over his chest in confusion. "Eh...? What do you mean by that? I did send you an email," he said, tilting his head to the side. He was unable to possibly think that anyone would go for more than an hour without checking their email, therefore, he thought that Toris would have already known both that he was coming, and where he lived, since he had sent an accurate map of his residence along.
