WHO:Lenna and Vash WHEN: 20th of July, Tuesday WHERE: Liberty Airport WHAT: Pickin' up the Missus from her long flight home, and it will be one cramped ride back on that motorcycle.

To say she had been horribly nervous about asking him to pick her up was an understatement. A very bad one at that. Lenna had been thinking of what to say the entire trip back from Liechtenstein and now that she was at the airport, nothing came to mind. Apologizing seemed like a good idea, but to say sorry the second she saw him?
It didn't seem like a good idea anymore.
She had convinced herself that maybe they could start over. The past couldn't be forgotten, but it would scar over like a bad wound and eventually heal, right? Only when her eyes fell on him did her heart start to ache; when she doubted the words she tried to comfort herself with.
"Thanks, Vash," Lenna muttered quietly once she got to him.
It's fine with me, I'm just taking in the sceneryflurryofbulletsJuly 26 2010, 04:03:32 UTC
"Auntie wasn't too crazy was she?" he asked jokingly, slipping into German for old times sake. However, if half of anything that was written on Lenna's blogs were true then her mother was just as crazy as ever.
"Let me take your bag," he offered, "you must be tired from the flight." It was only a small carry on bag but lord knows how jet-lag can effect a person, and Vash wasn't about to take any chances.
You remind me of a few of my famous friendsribbonlilyJuly 26 2010, 04:31:07 UTC
"Should I answer that?" she joked back, idly thinking of how she was kidnapped from her own front porch. It hadn't been too surprising; she was waiting for her mother to do something of the sort soon.
"A-Ah, it's fine," Lenna responded, not wanting to trouble him any more than she was already. The fact that he had even agreed to take her home was... more than she could ask for.

"I insist." he said one final time before gently taking the bag from her delicate hands. If chivalry was dead Vash only kept it alive and kicking for Lenna.
As the two walked side by side Vash held open the double doors for Lenna out of the baggage claim area, immediately letting it shut when other patrons tried to come through.
They could open their own door, shoot.
Onward they went passing by the ever present tourists and foreigners coming in from their long flights and vacations, a few snapping shots of Lenna and Vash, hopefully because of their somewhat similar hairstyles and not because they looked possibly famous. A young European girl being escorted by a glaring blonde in a suit, it wasn't entirely impossible... Though if Vash wasn't in an airport he would have shot the camera phone straight outta that smug bowlegged tween stuffed tightly in a pair of acid wash skinny jeans and Caliente Issue apparel
