Berwald gave a look over the place, his gaze stopping ponderingly on the blond, bored looking waitr...no, waiter? ...oh well, the person behind the counter. The place didn't look like it had rum. And the waiter didn't look like they'd take kindly to customers asking after stuff they didn't have, and after the last time someone was rude to Tino when he was like this...that was yet another Berwald would rather not risk.

He looked down at the laminated menu instead. One corner had dried up tuna flecks on it.

"'ve rum pudd'n'" Berwald remarked, his eyes happening on it in the "desserts" portion of the menu.

Sealand cameo because DAMNIT, HE IS THE 1ST MATE. longlivesealand July 18 2010, 19:43:14 UTC
Peter's eyes lit up when he saw the pirate ship in the distance. A look of excitement - one that had previously vanished all together thanks to Raivis - took command of his face. He had promised and given the privilege to be first mate, and he'd be damned if he didn't keep his word. It would have been easier if Conner could have taken him, but no, the Irish had to work.

He regretted not taking a bus as he tried his hardest to hobble across town. He was still trying to get used walking with the clutches. The idea of being on clutches on a ship didn't faze him; if pirates could work with peg legs, why couldn't he!

He was so close. He could taste the salt water in his mouth. He could feel the ocean breeze slapping him in the face.

Almost there... Almost there.

OMG. SWEDISH SAMURAI. :DD meiume July 18 2010, 20:56:56 UTC
While the rest of the staff was going crazy, Mei was in her element. Oh, she was used to dealing with customers with insane demands. This family restaurant was nothing Mei couldn't handle. In fact, it looked like she was the only one who hadn't lost a hair yet.

She collected her tips off the check and hummed happily to herself. She scanned the restaurant and waved to Zhi with a smile. Poor Zhi Zhi looked so distraught. Mei decided that she should go over there and cheer him up!

Before she made it over to Zhi, Mei's steps slowed and she was practically moving in slo-mo. Her eyes opened wide. Her mouth gaped. A whimper cried out from her chest.

There, sitting in A6 with a pale-haired man, was her Swedish samurai. Her handsome, incredibly, beautiful, sexy, silent, strong, and unbelievably hot Swedish samurai.

"B-berwald-san... B-BERWALD-SAN."

Mei's entire body trembled. Her eyes watered as her heart pounded out of control. Calmly, as calmly as she could muster, she made her way to the table.

MAGIC UP IN DIS SHIP mas_valor July 18 2010, 22:52:29 UTC
Valen took the other side of the lever, pulling on the damned rusty thing while her Captain (she had grown rather fond of calling Aziza that- roleplaying was a bit of an obsession to her) pushed with all her might. They toiled for about two minutes- and that is back-breaking, sweat conjuring, muscle straining toil, mind you!- before Valen threw in the towel.

"This is estupid!" she cried out and flung her hands up above her head. Not a good idea. The lever went spinning back in her Captain's direction and Valen scrambled to grab hold of it again.

"Concha," she swore under her breath and tried pulling again, before a sudden idea made her stop. Why was she even pulling this damned heavy thing? She was a goddamn superhero.

The manic grin spreading across her face would be enough to scare anyone. She reached out to touch the coiled chain and imagined the anchor weighing them down in the water. It would be so much easier if this thing were lighter... like cotton balls.

"Balls, balls, balls ahoy!"

"Careful!" Aziza pushed harder when Valen let go, wincing at the effort. This may be the one hitch in her plans she hadn't though through. How long since this thing had been oiled? Maybe she should have brought some others along to help, including just herself, Valen and Remy for this stage may have been underestimation ( ... )
