It had been nearly a year since the last plushie meet-up, but the forums were still as alive as ever. Unfortunately, that stupid hacker's impeccable timing had probably scared off many other potential meet-up-goers, and Zhi was left with a pretty good idea of the attendance count this time. Pity he hadn't had a chance to meet the hacker so far; live firecrackers in his face would say a lot more for what Zhi thought of him than words.
Zhi stepped into the restaurant, Xiang in a bag slung over his shoulder, and noted that it was a really really good idea that it wasn't the Green Palace. Hopefully this time they'd be uninterrupted and the meet-up would commence without a hitch. Of course, Zhi didn't know what exactly one did at a meet-up, but hopefully he'd figure out soon enough. He surveyed the restaurant carefully, looking hard for Matt. It took some time, but eventually he finally succeeded and made his way over, raising his hand in greeting.
YOUR HERE NOW AND THATS WHAT MATTERS. Not-boyfriend~*~*~*~*~ ;-; <3mounties_rockJune 28 2010, 09:07:41 UTC
Matt's face was deadpan as Zhi's gaze passed him by not once, not twice, but three times. However, he couldn't help but forgive his friend this small injustice considering he had once again faithfully showed up for a meet up despite the disaster that had happened last time. Afterall, he had seen Matt, and was in fact headed his way right at this very moment. And this time Matt had plans for the plushie meetup. Activities for people to do. He just hoped that someone would show up. Well, someone besides Zhi.
Not that Matthew wasn't more than happy to see Zhi, of course! He had been sad when Zhi had gone back to China, but now he was here again and finally they would get a chance to see each other and hang out. Yes, seeing him was great, its just that... Two people was not really much of a meet up. Damn hacker, if he had messed this up...
"Zhi!" said Matt happily, standing in greeting. "Its good to see you again." and really it was.
OH NOT-BOYFRIEND, I'LL BE HERE FOR YOU. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALWAYS~♥firecracker_baoJune 28 2010, 21:54:57 UTC
"Hey, Matt." A hint of a rare smile was on his face as Zhi greeted one of his very few friends. "It's good to see you again, too." He put down Xiang and took a seat, gesturing for the other boy to do the same. Taking a thoughtful sip from his glass of water, he leaned back in his chair, adjusting the bag that Xiang was in so that his head poked out in the same manner as Kumajiro.
"If you ignore the fact that my parents tried to get me married again, I suppose I've been good," came the wry reply. It wasn't an incident he wanted to go through again, that was for sure. That was really about it, though, aside from exams; his life was just that uneventful. "What about you?" Zhi asked, then added as an afterthought: "How are the forums?"
Aside from the stupid hacker, of course, but they both knew that. He doubted anyone would really want to talk about the low-life time-wasting troll, least of all Matt, who had to deal with cleaning up the aftermath.
Said stupid hacker was currently walking through the door of Myfanwy's*, glancing about the restaurant with narrow, red eyes. Plushie Fucker may have IP banned him from that stupid website, but not before Gilbert, in his infinite cleverness, found the date, location, and time of their lame meet up. A lame meet up about to be made awesome by his presence. But it was going to be difficult: Gilbert knew that this particular breed was prone to hiding, keeping to the shadows. It was gong to take all his hunting skills to find the--
Oh, there they are. Two men ('men' a term that was being used very loosely) were sitting at a table to his left in a booth. Their plushies, the give away to their identities, were poking out of their bags like two groundhogs poking out of their holes and oh my god that image was too cute for words. Right, he had to calm down if he wanted to troll these losers

He had just been about to respond to Zhi. Just been about to start a pleasant conversation with his friend. Maybe he'd even ask him about that whole marriage ordeal. If only he could have. As soon as Matt opened his mouth to speak a strange man walked up. Could he be here for the meet up? The rising feeling of hope in Matt's chest quickly turned into a feelings of dread and despair when the man spoke

The sound of the voice from somewhere above him half-startled Zhi and he stiffened, narrowing his eyes at the words spoken as he stole a glance at him from the side of his eyes. It wasn't hard to guess who it was at all- the troll sounded exactly like the way he typed though he had expected him to have at least a few spare tires on. Trolling them online wasn't enough; oh no, the stupid hacker wanted to troll them irl too. Matt had already given up the idea ignoring him, but Zhi had learned from past experience that it worked... sometimes. Would this situation be one of those times? He decided to put the question to the test
