read this article in the Anchorage Daily News today and thought of you.

And, the socks? One is finished - the second is about half way there - I've almost finished the ribbing and should be starting the heel tomorrow.

Thanks for tha link to that knitting article! It's SO true. All this knitting is really taking up my time.---I mean in a good way, but I do miss painting too.

Good luck on knitting the heel to your sock, I hear that's the hardest part to do?

Hey Lo,

I just noticed your sidebar link to PurSue Art purses. I saw her at the hospital and noticed her purse right away. I commented to her about it, and she said that she designed it - her 'invention' - Imagine that!

I thought Erin's purse idea was so clever! It reminds me of those wooden purse boxes of the 50's and 60's but waAAAaAay more creative.

Nice to see you Fiona!! and YES, I remember you, how could I forget? I have your handmade card/letter sitting on my dresser in the livingroom. I show everyone that comes over how beautiful it is. I must take a picture of it and share it in here. I have your beaded lizard guy at work, and I have worn the necklace you made me a few times also. I tell people that it's from a gal that lives in South Africa! ((they are always impressed ;)
