Now I'm picturing the zebra in its denim jacket (in spite of having read all 4 of my children that classic of children's literature Animals Should Definitely Not Wear Clothing!) with its mullet wig. Nope. Still able to pick out RDA easily. But now it's a lot harder to see him through the explosive gales of giggles and the tears of laughter.

On the whole, I think we'd better stick with things as they are.

No, no, no! Zebras should never wear mullets! Try picturing it with a denim jacket and a MOHAWK.

I will also point out that, although horizontal stripes should generally never be worn around the hips, zebras are an exception.
