I'm so humiliated. I was told by my professors that I would get awards in the Push Pin exhibit for the work I did. Fuck, all my professors took more than half of my things saying is WAS for push pin. Yeah. Okay

Oh Holly, I'm so sorry. I'm sure that's really not what you want to hear right now but I am. You shouldn't have gone through all that especially after all of them saying the things they did and building up your hopes like that. I'm very glad that you did get into the exhibit. That alone is wonderful news and I know for a fact you're an extreamly talented person.

Please feel better. If you need to vent you're more than welcome to. You need to get to where you want to be in England and I'm sure you'll get the recognition you deserve there.

you have every right to be upset about your professors and not getting recognition you expected because of your professors. just don't get discouraged by it--i agree with a-bail. you're hard work (is paying off since ur going to UK!!) will get the attention it deserves once you're at the place you want and need to be.

this kinda reminds me of my experience with mrs. lewis junior year. she told me to submit a specific piece in an art show (the EFFING LEAVES?!) swearing that they look at the "idea" rather than techniques. uh nice. didn't even get honorable mention and i lost to a cartoon drawing of a fucking elephant. why am i ranting? XDDDDDD

I'm very sorry! That is really messed up for your professors to act like that. You obviously worked hard and it's just a speed bump. Things will get better and you will be awarded for your work and talent eventually. Feel better!
