Back after much too long

Finally off for some much needed downtime over the holidays. Got the latest batch out the door on Friday. So of course SOMETHING in the bug category bit me on the cheek over the weekend (current opinion is probably a spider) and i developed what looked like unilateral mumps. I wasn't aware Latte had escaped again and did not return. I'm sorry for your loss.

Christmas dinner sounds wonderful. We go by what food we'll actually eat instead of what 'traditional' dishes are supposed to be served. One of the nephews remarked on why was there always a squash casserole when no one ate it.

Merry Christmas and a wonderful and joyFULL New Year to you and yours.

Ouch... sorry about the bite on the cheek.

So is Latte gone because of the 'not so handy man'... that is horrible! And he has the nerve to return looking for work. I hope he doesn't bother you again. Did you have any repercussions about him not having a building permit?

Your Christmas dinner sounds yummy. I love cornbread!!! My nephew recently prepared cornbread in a waffle iron ~ OMGoodness, was that yummy! I could have made that the whole meal!!! It was a real hit with everyone at the table.

I hope you can enjoy your downtime and have a very Merry Christmas!

((hugs))

No, Punkin got out because he left the gate open. Punkin is too large to scale the fence but he can access the backyard through the pet door. Latte could climb the fence but he seldom left the area right around the yard. He disappeared two days before my second surgery in August and never came back. And of course I wasn't able to really look for him the way I would have liked.
