I made tuna salad for lunch. Watched my episode of True Blood from Sunday night - sitting in the deacon's bench, not my comfy-but-harder-to-get-out-of chair. Took another shower - man they do feel good. The other directors of the Homeowners Association sent me a fruit basket - it also has chocolates and some gourmet chicken soup mix ( Read more... )

Tuna salad for lunch sounds like a good choice ~ was it? :)
That is one drawback of comfy chairs; they are more difficult to exit. Mine is a rocker-recliner and I used to sort of rock until I had enough momentum to help me get out and it seemed to work fairly well.

The fruit basket and assorted goodies sounds nice.

I hope the rest of the day went well. Sweet dreams!

Those books are fun, aren't they? I'm currently re-reading the first in prep for a book group meeting, and for FenCon.

Sounds like a good plan for the evening and glad to hear you're feeling good, all things considered. I watched enough of Eureka to see Shawn Wallace! Is he a reg. or just co-star this wk? Mike watches the show each week and I was reading / falling asleep w/ a book on my chest.

Be careful w/ resuming activity. If I've not already told you, I'm the Poster Child of What Not to Do After a Hysterectomy. First couple of wks were okay and I felt so much better than prior to surgery b/c I wasn't anemic - but w/ having a 4 yr old and then moving... ended up w/ major complications and have been disabled since.

I'm sorry for my slight silence...I've been thinking of you but, unless you're secretly telepathic, you won't know this. I have no excuse except that I've been lurking more than reading most places lately.

I'm really glad you're feeling better...having been where you are, make sure you don't push yourself. Take care of yourself and go slow. Sending you a whole metric TON of love and very gentle hugs!!
