Or, if you don't want chocolate cake, how about Irn Bru cake? Sadly, it doesn't have enough of an Irn Bru taste to feed my addiction.
Ingredients:
1 cup of shortener of choice
1/2 stick butter or margarine
4 cups sugar
5 eggs shopping list
1 cup Irn-Bru
3 cups plain flour
1 tsp orange flavoring
1 tsp vanilla flavoring
Method:
1. Cream the shortner, half of the butter and sugar. Add the eggs one at a time and mix well.
2. Add the flour and add a little Irn Bru at a time, mixing well until smooth. Then add the flavourings.
3. Bake at 162°C (Gas mark 3) for 70 minutes
Ice as desired. I like to use orange icing for effect.

I hope you enjoy!
Just make sure you don't pour in too much Irn Bru at once. It doesn't end well.

Haha. Indeed it was. Though I will assume you didn't enjoy it then? Ah well, more for me!
