Boris/Gids prompt anonymous October 11 2010, 11:04:57 UTC
Boris keeps badgering the Treasury about the London budget, which he's not happy with. George gets annoyed in turn, especially when Boris brings up the issue in his speech to the conference. The tension takes a turn for the slashy.

Bonus points if DCam and Hague can be worked in somewhere, as a team reunion from when the other three used to help Hague prep against Blair.

I admit it, I have a crush on him. The full teenage experience: a racing pulse and legs that feel like they might crumple beneath me every time he looks my way with that impatient frown. He's straighter than straight, all lewd jokes and talking to breasts rather than faces, but I still bury myself in my fantasies day after day ( ... )

Tony Blair has a support team. Jonathan Powell has nice floppy hair and a copy of The Prince. Alastair Campbell is the crossest man in Downing Street. Peter Mandelson is more temperamental than Elizabeth Taylor. Together they're ... well, you decide.

(bonus points for cameos by The Two Eds as emissaries from GBro, the King Over The Water.)

From Alastair's twitter:

Ran into Peter Mandelson on his way in as I was heading to car. Didn't seem pleased to see me. Must be a book sales thing

As I understand it, Peter's book is outselling Alastair's so not quite sure what he means by that comment other than as ever attack being the best form of defence with him!

Well, maybe he's doing what he love most; giving it a spin, you know, trying to convince everybody that his book is selling better, even though it's not true.

He made a snarky little comment about how they didn't get on very well after his book was published at the festival... and commented on how Peter punched (imitated it to the audience) - I came out shipping Mandelbell!
