This seemed like a good place to leave some PWP...

It was going to happen, it had become inevitable. It was there in every accidental touch they gave each other, every look between them. In the words they said and the awkward silences, all tainted with the certain knowledge of what the other was thinking.

“David,” Ed whispered into the darkness when it finally happened. “Are you still awake?”

He was, of course. Breathless and shivering with excitement from his brother’s proximity. They were pressed too close in his too narrow bed, the sodium glow of the streetlight his only link to world outside his bedroom.

Ed pressed closer still, because it wasn’t wrong for brothers to share. It wasn’t wrong for them to want to be close to each other.

David swallowed then, every fibre of his being wishing that Ed would make the first move. Terrified that Ed would close the distance between them and touch him. Ed’s breath was on his face, his lips grazing first his cheek and then his jawbone ( ... )
