In this (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1315752/Tears-anger-betrayal-Labour-lady-was.html) article about DMil's wife's reaction there is a sentence that struck me as a bit odd:

"Witnesses said that Ed stood awkwardly to one side, looking on ‘in fascinated horror’."

Could it be that we have it all wrong and not David is a robot but Ed?

I interpreted this bit (totally unfair, unconfirmed article I should add - nothing against you, OP, just hating the Mail a lot over here :D) to be typical Miliband awkwardness and inability to behave as regular humans would (offering sympathy) buuuuuut if it gets us more Milibot fic, I am all for it.
