Ha! I'd say you do doggy POV quite well. I'm strongly reminded of my own dog, who tries to fetch bees in her mouth. Nice touch with the crab getting away at the end.

yes mine used to do similar things - her favourite was catching spiders live in her mouth then spitting them out at your feet and waiting for a "good dog!"

which with hindsight was pretty adorable really :-)
