Okay so today, my first full day off in weeks, I finally played the Sims. First, I built a house I had been dreaming about based on this one here. I thought it was a gorgeous layout. I tried to keep the colors the same and stuff but I ended up branching off and doing my own thing for some of it. It's not finished but I'm kind of excited about it.

Oh wow!! That house is gorgeous and the interior shots are phenomenal! I don't have the patience for decorating like that but wow! This looks really good!

Haha thanks! Mike had to have patience too...he was pretty much rolling his eyes after three hours of me playing lol.

Those apartments are awesome. They remind me of IKEA showrooms (which are also awesome).

You are so creative. :) I think you should seriously consider taking your talents outside the sim world and making tangible things that don't just exist in digital format. You could probably excel at some kind of art if you tried. Maybe you should be an architect. :)

Lol thanks. I'm actually a trained interior designer. I have my degree in it and everything. :P Funny you should say that, because recently I've been waffling between taking a position doing that or holding out for Elisa. I'll be writing an entry about that rather soon. :P

Oh cool. That would be nice. Sounds like it would beat delivering pizzas, and would also give you a nice creative outlet. Since you're managing at Dominos now, how close are you to being able to get your own store? That would be a substantial pay increase, and you're gonna need it, especially if Mike is still unemployed when you get married. lol

I will never ever manage a Domino's on my own. First of all, you have to put in 50 hours a week...for only 30,000 a year. They put you on salary. I actually make more now than if I were to become a GM. Second of all, that's just way too much stress. It's just not going to happen.
Mike will still be employed until January by the army and he'll have something. He has a few things going since he went to a job fair recently.

Hell yeah! I almost never download houses other people make. But this house... JAAA! So cool! But also só crappy that the house is invalid... I want to have it so badly! Doesn't it work at all anymore?! =( Is it possible to download it anywhere?
