My uncle actually makes dolls and he made me my very own "Goth Barbie" (black lipstick, fishnets, Docs and all) when I was in eighth grade!! ;P

That was excellent! I can see them as the kind of couple that when the hearts finally do give out, they pass away within hours of each other.

(Note: Typo in third paragraph, should be "heels," is distracting)

This is so lovely and warm. What a wonderful thing to read in the morning and set a tone for my day!!

I love how you hinted at the goings on when they were sick - the stitched and sanded there giving just enough information to burst into meaning at the right time.
