It *might* be a coincidence, but ... nope. Not a coincidence.

Hello! I'm not going to respond any further to comments on this post. The most relevant information -- which I think can't be found elsewhere -- is now collected in short form in this post here. Thanks to all who contributed information and links. This was extremely interesting, and I'm going to bed now.

Alright, here's what I've found so far. Most of the users who were members of little_children were banned. I'm using those who weren't to compile the following list of banned communities:

adult_teen_love
ageplaywithsex
basementsociety
fetishconfess
incestories
lolita_icontest
we_nympholepts
kindersluts
sick_fetish
___showsomeskin
beast_love
girlie_porn
masters_paws
mount__me
rape_porn
Also banned were users with such encouraging names as prefer12minus, littlegirllover.

Notably, I did see comms about sexual ageplay that were not banned, so we can regard the information on them not being reported as true.

boysfuckingboys looks legit, male erotic fiction? That's just a guess from the cached page. I can't tell you what was in the interests of the comm, though.

Wow. That's great research on a really gross topic. Yuck, yuck, yuck. And thanks!

Yeah, I got through the users of that one comm and was disgusted enough not to continue. I'll try to see if any other fandoms got touched, though. So far it really looks like it's only HP, which makes one wonder...

Makes one wonder that why the heck this happened on Laura Mallory day?

Joking - know these are in no way related.

Adding more information to my post:
Based on information I'm seeing in other posts and some userinfos, I have friends who watched boysfuckingboys so I'm going to assume it was legit/adult fiction.

incestories was a fiction community.

And not all of the comms I included are for pedophilia specifically. They were just banned for some sort of offense/violation. Apologies for making no distinctions between each. Some of them were presumably banned for references to rape and bestiality.

I belonged to boysfuckingboys, it was a general slash fiction community.

Thanks for letting me know. I've corrected the post.

What really gets me is the second group posting the userinfo of that comm as "proof" that it's a pedophile group and criminal, when in fact it makes it very clear that it's a slash fiction community. I'm also thrilled, as I'm sure you can imagine, that they've posted the userinfo in that context along with the complete list of members, including this journal, of course.

Thanks for compiling everything, it's been stressful for a lot of different people because of the kneejerk reaction of LJ. I do want to clarify something, though.

Having seen ljincest, incestuouslove, disgusting_lust and rape_porn at various times, I think more separation is necessary. While there were certainly people in those with less than wholesome purposes and thoughts, most of the stories and accounts in ljincest and incestuouslove were of consenting adults of age because of this particular paranoia. Likewise, disgusting_lust and rape_porn was more centered around nonconsent and rape fantasies of adults. Painting those comms with a broad Pedophiles brush may lead to the same hysteria that WfI created by throwing everyone else under one category.

Here's a suggestion, notwithstanding the interests in the cache, start lists for support/encouragement of RL incest and support/encouragement of RL rape fantasy comms separate from the pedo comms. I'm sure there will be more to come in the next few days as the banners and other information get around LJ.

Thanks for the info. I can see that I will have to rethink categorization. My personal squicks may be getting in the way of clarity here.

My apologies for not being clearer and dividing up the comms myself during my searching. My intent was only to find communities that had been banned to try to parse out what interests were being banned. I should have been clearer, and I hope I didn't offend you or any other people who are sane adults and fiction fans. It wasn't my intent. Being a fan of fantasy/roleplay, etc. myself, it would be awfully hypocritical of me to condemn others' fiction.

I didn't see it on the list above when I made my original post, but fetishconfess was simply a fetish community, most of the posts in there were actually BDSM or nonconsent related. Maybe put that under a general fetish category.

Let me see if I understand this - those dimwits posted a screenshot of a FICTION COMM as proof that it was all about RL pedophilia?

WTFF?

I know. Isn't that fucking CRAZY. They posted a quote something from the userinfo, saying:

"Here are a couple dozen links to screenshots of LiveJournal pedophiles and child-rape advocates. Each of these blogs, users and communities are known to LiveJournal... and LiveJournal does not care to remove their activities from their services."

And then post this quote from boysfuckingboys:

- "boys fucking boys" community on Livejournal - "Because you can't have one pretty boy without giving him another"

Gah.

They probably just can't cope with the fact that tens of thousands of women on LJ call all men "boys".

Well, on LJ and pretty much everywhere else.
