You're not allowed to skip? You're not allowed to bring skipping ropes? I mean, I'm sure both of those are frowned on in prison without specific approval.

I reckon they'd notice if you were bringing a skip.

That's crazy. I would have asked the person who told you to look at the list why it was on there. Was it a typo? A joke? Something you were supposed to ask about (to make sure people are really reading the list in the first place)?

I commented aloud to my colleague and made a joke...some prisons are *very* serious however and it was greeted with a frown!

Lol! I went on a prison visit with some students and only phones and cigs were on the no-no list. Then again it was a cat D so perhaps skips are allowed there.
