Looks and sounds like you had a lovely time -- and for sure you are most deserving. I think I need photo captions though -- what and where is the bell and what (and who) are the next two? Interesting faces but if I ever knew who they were that knowledge is long gone.

The bell was a memorial to HMS ORlando (http://www.memorials.inportsmouth.co.uk/city-centre/orlando.htm) I'd never heard of it beforehand.

The next is a monument to HMS Centurion (http://memorials.inportsmouth.co.uk/city-centre/centurion.htm)

and the last is in honour of Admiral Napier (http://memorials.inportsmouth.co.uk/city-centre/napier.htm)

I'd heard of none of them, just took photos cos they appealed to me!

All three were in Victoria Park in Portsmouth.

Festival was great - it was my first and a lovely, gentle introduction - very good spirited and relaxed.
