I can't find any traditional Mexican Christmas, but I do know that our celebrations begin on December 12th with the celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe and end on the 6th of January with the celebration of the Epiphany, or Día de los Reyes as it's known in Spanish.

But here, have a fun, Spanish rendition of Silent Night by La Oreja de Van Gogh (they're from España~). ♥

If I find anything later, I'll make sure to post it. :U

Mariachi:

Corrido:
"The corrido is a popular narrative song and poetry form, a ballad, of Mexico. The songs are often about oppression, history, daily life for peasants, and other socially important information."

And we have so many other genres like rancheras, banda, norteños, sones, and cumbia. A lot of these genres play a huge role in our traditional dance, or folklorico, too.

Christmas isn't Christmas in Britain without the following:

Slade

Wizard

Pogues and Kirsty McColl

Peter Auty or Aled Jones (this is the original Auty version)

Or Irn-Bru's version (which was banned for 'RUINING CHILDHOODS')

And a Cliff Richard song.

Cliff Richard is the only Artist, I think, in the world to of had a number 1 in 5 decades, his last three number 1s ('88, '90 and '99) were all Christmas songs with his final number one Millennium Prayer being blasphemy. The Lord's Prayer to the theme of Auld Lang Syne?! Misuse of Auld Lang Syne for sure!

Let's see...I've both heard them before, am singing in a choir (in Sweden) and have been listening to a Swedish station playing christmas songs for the last month. So!

Old favourite: Staffansvisan
Medieval ballad about Herodes' stable...guy, which also has a lot of different variations. Would have preferred a less choral and more folky version actually, but this was the best I could find.

My favourite of the christmas songs I've learned singing in the choir here. ¤3¤ Bereden Väg För Herran
It's a hymn. Has a better known melody as well, this one was found in Dalarna. It's the prettiest, sez everyone.
Here sung by a Norwegian >3>;

And of the songs heard on that Christmas station (which me and my roommate call the Christmas disco channel because...jeez, I could have lived without hearing Silent Night with a bassbeat I'3)
It's stupid. But it's also almost funny. and catchy. ALMOST.

"--The night is dark when there are no more christmas lights to have ( ... )
