Part two of my massive rambling Cursed Child post be here. This is getting more into plot, thematic stuff, and particular scenes/moments. ( spoilers abound, natch )
Thank you so much, I'm glad! And man, I feel for you. I'm seeing it again in December (with fandom friends for a BFF's birthday) and I CANNOT WAIT I AM GOING MAD. I'm gonna show up at the theatre to ask about returns on Wednesday I think.
*nodnod* Scorpius' line about how he was better off, yeah, luckier - but the world wasn't

Thank you so so much for writing this, Loki! I spoiled myself very early (um, after JKR called out the Wormtail; I would have missed the spoiler site if it hadn't been her :P ), have read the script, but can only enjoy the play through other people's reviews so far... I had a wonderful friend who managed to get me a ticket, which is... next summer. I don't mind the wait at all though!!! WEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!! *dies of excitement just thinking about it

OMG, I'm so happy you're going to be able to see it! It's so intensely wonderful. And also we should totally hang out since you'll be in London :D
And you're very welcome for writing it. I AM SO FULL OF OPINIONS.
I totally know what you mean - Jamie Parker always looked right to me and FEELS right all through the play. And yes, I really love that we see his pain and angst here, and that it's not only the war (which would be quite enough) but that his nightmares are about the Dursleys. And I think you can see it in his bewilderment about Albus too, because Hogwarts was his home and family was everything he wanted so how can Albus hate Hogwarts? How can he be angry with his family?
And I LOVE Albus. It's a quieter role than Scorpius' in some ways but such a fascinating one. And I really like what you say about Albus, because YES - it's not obvious at first, even to Harry himself, but they are so so so much alike. (Just like how goofy follower Scorpius is in some ways very much like Draco.)

Is this, plus part 1 from earlier, something you'd be comfortable with me sharing publicly? In interviews or talks or podcasts?
