So shocking - I saw it on Facebook first and I ran to check with national media outlets just because I couldn't believe it.

A college friend of mine who lives in England now (I'm american, more's the pity) posted about this on FB and I couldn't believe it. I still can't. Fear and rage are getting stronger in this world, and I'm at a loss for how to deal with it.

I'm still in disbelief.

I see plenty of reasons to be optimistic about the world generally, but. Yeah. Things look pretty grim right now.
