So, I was meant to go to the birthday party of one of my best friends tonight, and then all the trains were cancelled. I am not feeling terribly happy. And this is a depressing time of year for many of us in the northern hemisphere (and many in the southern one, too - fuck forest fires). Solution? Obvious.

To me you are the epitome of the BNF, in all the best senses of the term and none of the worst. You're welcoming to newcomers; you offer a lot of valuable contributions to the fandom through the coms you run and the many comments you leave; you are so democratic in the pairings you read and rec; you never judge or criticise people who have different likes and interests than yours. I'm too shy to actually friend you, but I often check out your recs posts. Thank you!
