So, I was meant to go to the birthday party of one of my best friends tonight, and then all the trains were cancelled. I am not feeling terribly happy. And this is a depressing time of year for many of us in the northern hemisphere (and many in the southern one, too - fuck forest fires). Solution? Obvious.

Chantefable, I have yet to read a story of yours that I don't love. Your writing is complex, deep, thoughtful -- whether you're writing darkfic or humor, your stories are nuanced and full of insight. And not only do you have interesting things to say, but you understand style, too: I love the way you experiment with different characters, points of view, literary styles and genres. I have a large "keeper file" of HP stories on my hard drive, and yours occupy a prominent place. I'm so glad HP fandom has you in it!
