"Familiar," a 'Lost Tribe' Tag

And no, I have no idea what the episode was called, and I probably won't watch a ton of SGA that does not include Daniel Jackson.  Though Ronon was pretty darned entertaining in this episode.  I appreciated the hanging from the ceiling trick particularly.

It's called 'The Lost Tribe' I only saw the last 15 minutes; what the heck were Daniel and Rodney wearing?

Poor Jack, can't leave Daniel alone for a second. I love how they can have this whole conversation in between small talk and small jokes.

They were wearing rogue Asgard exoskeletons, designed to protect against harsh environments. Apparently they fit both Asgard and humans. I'm not sure even I can swallow that one, but there it is.

Daniel and Jack have that whole lovely telepathy thing going even when it's not a telepathy fic. I love that about them.

Thank you!

You just know the General had to check up on his errant archaeologist. Jack is never letting him set foot on Atlantis again. *laugh*

The credits rolled and I said "Wait! Jack's bound to have something to say about this!" And, of course, he did. :) Glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks! That episode was fun, but it desperately needed Jack.

Here through 6beforelunch's rec...

Oh, yay! Someone followed up. I figured Daniel would have residual issues dealing with this, and who better than Jack to help him pseudo-talk through it? Nicely done.

As for the exoskeletons, I think Daniel and Rodney did a canon handwave in the episode about the technology making them fit or something, didn't they? Ah, well. If that's the worst of it, this episode scores pretty high on the Stargate believability meter. ;)

Yeah, I couldn't BELIEVE they were putting Daniel through the radiation thing again. I mean, really? Poor guy never catches a break. So I figured Jack would have very much the same reaction.
