Thanks! I do have this odd affection for the possibilities that are hinted at in between Netu and Shades of Gray. I think that's one of my favorite Jack&Daniel periods in canon.

Thank you! The Netu episodes for me are like a siren song. I don't know why, but for some reason I have all these ideas in my head of how Jack and Daniel might connect after that mission. I keep wanting to rewrite them there and then. *grin* Paian's artwork gave me a perfect excuse. I noticed all kinds of lovely things about it while I was writing, too, like the way Jack's legs sort of echo the legs in one of the figures above, and the way the bend of his knee slots into the fantasy-space. And, of course, the hand up towards Daniel, 'cause he can't help himself. (Who could?)
